Honest take
StrikePractice
Phoenix Duels
Switching
There is no automatic import from StrikePractice. You rebuild kits, arenas and modes in the in-game editor.
Arenas can be duplicated, and Premium can auto-generate them, which saves a lot of the work. Lite is a free way to try the setup first.
Player stats and Elo from StrikePractice do not carry over.
Quick answers
It is if you run a current Minecraft version, want to set everything up in-game, or have Bedrock players. If you run a 1.8 PvP practice server and want PvP bots and automatic tournaments, StrikePractice is the better fit.
No. Phoenix Duels supports 1.20.4 – 26.3. StrikePractice lists 1.8 through 1.21, with 1.21 marked experimental on its page.
Not automatically. Kits, arenas and modes are rebuilt in the in-game editor. Arenas can be duplicated, and Premium can auto-generate them, which speeds that up.
Phoenix Duels has a free Lite version with limits on kits, rules and party fights. StrikePractice has no free version; it is €18.99 on SpigotMC.
Phoenix Duels runs on Folia (experimental) and its menus work for Bedrock players through Geyser. StrikePractice does not list Folia or Bedrock support.
Bottom line
StrikePractice is the stronger choice for a 1.8 practice network that wants bots and automatic events. Phoenix Duels is the better fit for servers on current versions that want in-game setup, Bedrock support and a free version to start on.
