Why does my item line show a barrier?

The line's item could not be found. That happens when the Item Id names a material that does not exist, or a custom item whose plugin is not installed or no longer has that item.

Custom items are kept by their id, such as nexo:ruby, so they follow updates to the item. The Item Id option lists the item plugins the server has.
