🪧 Admin Signs ⭐

#Information

An admin sign is a server-owned sign linked to one item of one of your shops. Clicking it buys or sells that item without opening a menu. It trades exactly as the shop does: the same prices, currency, stock, purchase limits and requirements apply, and it sends the same messages.

Unlike a player shop, it needs no container and the server supplies the items.

#Create a Sign

Write [pshop] on the first line of a sign and click Done. While player shops are on, a [pshop] sign on a chest, trapped chest, barrel or shulker box becomes an admin player shop instead, so put a linked sign anywhere else. This needs phoenixshop.sign.admin. The sign shows as not linked and its editor opens straight away, with a Status button listing what is still missing. Pick the shop, the category and the item, and click Status once everything is ticked. See Edit Sign.

To edit a sign later, look at it and run /pshop editshop, or open it from the sign list.

Only a player with phoenixshop.sign.admin can break an admin sign. Breaking it deletes the sign's file.

#Using a Sign

A plain click moves the sign's Amount. A sneaking click runs the sign's own shift-click action instead, such as buying a stack or selling everything. When that action is Nothing, or buys on a sell-only sign or sells on a buy-only sign, the sneaking click falls back to the plain click.

After a purchase, the player is told how much stock is left and how many more they may buy, when the item has either limit.

#Sign Shops List

Editor > Sign Shops lists every admin sign, with its mode, shop, category, item, the buy and sell price it trades at, and its location. A sign whose shop, category or item no longer exists is marked as not linked.

Left-click a sign to edit it, shift + left-click to teleport to it, and right-click to delete it after a confirmation. Turn on Reordering to sort the list: click a sign, then click the one it should swap places with.
