A red line in place of the name means the NPC cannot be shown, and says why. Only staff with phoenixnpcs.command.edit see it, everyone else sees nothing.

| The type is not one an NPC can be | Pick another type with /pnpc type. |
| A player NPC that this server version cannot show | See Why can't I see my player NPC? |
| ModelEngine or BetterModel is not installed | Install the plugin, or set the model engine back to Entity. |
| No model is set | Pick a model in the editor or with /pnpc model. |
| The model does not exist | Check the model's id in ModelEngine or BetterModel. |
