Every change is saved to the sign's file and redrawn on the sign as you make it. There is no save button.
The unique id of the sign, and the name of its file. A new sign gets a generated one such as sign_4821. Only letters, numbers, - and _ are allowed, and two signs cannot share one. Renaming renames the file.
Opens the sign's icon and display name. Both are only used in the Sign Shops list, so staff can tell signs apart. They do not change what the sign shows in the world.
Restricts the sign to players with a permission. When it is off, anyone can use the sign. When it is on and no node is typed, the node is phoenixshop.signs.use.<shop>, named after the linked shop. phoenixshop.signs.use.* opens every sign.
The shop the sign trades from, picked from a list. Changing it clears the category and the item.
The category of the item, picked from the chosen shop. Changing it clears the item.
The item the sign trades, picked from the chosen category. The sign stores the item's identifier, so reordering the category does not repoint it.
Renaming or deleting the shop, category or item leaves the sign not linked. It shows the not-linked text and refuses every click until it is linked again.
Whether the sign buys, sells or both. A mode the item has no price for is marked as missing its buy or sell price and cannot be chosen. When the item changes and the current mode no longer fits, the sign switches to one that does.
How many lots one plain click moves. A lot is the item's own amount, so an item sold in 16s with an Amount of 2 moves 32. The most allowed is one full stack of the item, and the value is lowered on its own when the item changes. It can only be set once an item is picked.
What a sneaking left-click does. By default it sells a stack.
What a sneaking right-click does. By default it buys a stack.
Both shift-click options offer the same choices, and each choice needs its own permission on top of the sign's.
| Choice | Does | Permission |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing | Falls back to the plain click. | None |
| Buy a Stack | Buys one full stack of the item. | phoenixshop.signs.buy-stack |
| Sell a Stack | Sells up to one full stack from the inventory. | phoenixshop.signs.sell-stack |
| Fill Inventory | Buys as many as fit in the inventory and the player can afford. | phoenixshop.signs.buy-inventory |
| Sell Everything | Sells every matching item in the inventory. | phoenixshop.signs.sell-all |
Copies the shop, category, item, mode, amount, permission and both shift-click actions of another sign onto this one. The identifier and display stay as they are. It is the fastest way to put up a row of signs for the same item.
Deletes the sign after a confirmation. The sign block stays in the world, blank, and its file is removed.
This option is permanent, and signs can't be restored.
Only shown while setting up a sign that was just placed. It lists what the sign still needs: a shop, a category, an item, and a mode the item has a price for. Once every line is ticked, click it to close the editor.
