🛒 Key Shop

On this page, you will find everything you need to know about the key shop add-on.

#Information

The Key Shop add-on lets players buy crate keys with a currency, and trade keys they already hold for a different kind of key. It gives a server a way to sell keys in game rather than only through a web store, and gives players something to do with the pile of common keys they never open.

Prices are charged through the same cost engines a crate uses for its open cost, so an entry can be priced in Vault money, experience levels, PlayerPoints, VotingPlugin points or ExcellentEconomy without any extra setup.

#Installation

To install this add-on, you can either:

Drag and drop the jar file into the PhoenixCrates/addons folder, then restart your server.
Download the plugin with the add-on selected during the downloading.

The add-on requires the Premium edition. The currency plugin an entry is priced in has to be installed for that entry to be purchasable, but an entry priced at 0 needs nothing.

Purchase counts are stored per player in the database, in the player_keyshop_table table.

#Commands

/crate shop [player] - Opens the key shop. Without an argument it opens for the sender.
/crate exchange [player] - Opens the key exchange.
/crate resetKeyShop <player> - Clears a player's purchase and trade counters, freeing every limit again. Requires phoenixcrates.command.resetkeyshop.

#Permissions

Permission	What it allows

Individual entries are gated with their own permission option rather than a permission node.
