Add products to your cart and remove them from here Lets buyOn this page, you will find how to make a category rotate and how its items are picked.
Everything on this page is set in Editor > Rotating Shop and saved to addons/RotatingShop/config.yml.
Make a Category Rotate lists every category of every shop that does not rotate yet. Picking one makes its items the pool and puts the first picks on sale straight away. In the list, left-click a rotation to edit it and right-click to stop it, which shows every item of the category again.
A rotation follows the identifiers of its shop and category. After renaming either one, stop the rotation and make the category rotate again.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Schedule | When new items are picked, see below. Changing it starts the timer again from now. |
| Items Shown | How many items of the pool are on sale at once, up to 54. 0, or more than the pool holds, shows all of them. Changing it picks new items straight away. |
| Can Repeat | On: every pick is random, and an item is never shown twice in one pick. Off: every item of the pool is shown once before any comes back. |
| Broadcast | Tells everyone online in the chat when new items are picked. |
| Chances | The chance of single items, see below. |
| Pick New Items | Picks new items now and starts the timer again. |
| Schedule | New items are picked |
|---|---|
daily |
At midnight. |
monthly |
At midnight on the first day of the month. |
A length, such as 12h 30m 15s, 90m or 1w
|
That long after the last pick. Units are w, d, h, m and s. After a restart it keeps the same rhythm instead of starting over. |
A cron line, such as 0 0/30 * * * ?
|
At every time it matches. |
Times follow the server's clock and time zone, and the add-on checks once a second. Cron lines take six fields (seconds first, ? for the unused day field), an optional seventh for the year, or the five fields of a standard cron line. Lists, ranges, steps and the names JAN-DEC and SUN-SAT work, L, W and # do not. An hour of 24 means midnight. A schedule that cannot be read changes daily and says so in the console.
Each item can have a percent chance of being picked. Items without one share what is left of 100% equally, so with one item at 40% in a pool of five, the other four have 15% each. Once the chances add up to 100% or more, the items without one are only picked to fill the slots the others leave. Disabled items are never picked. Setting a chance to 0 makes the item share again.
Only the items on sale can be bought, from the menu and from anywhere else that buys from the shop. Every item of the pool can still be sold with /sell and the other ways of selling into the shop. Stock and player limits keep their counts between picks, so an item that sold out is still sold out when it comes back.
