The Wool Wars add-on turns a platform in the middle of your arena into the objective. Both teams get endless wool in their own color and race to cover the platform with it, breaking each other's wool along the way. First team to own enough of it wins the round. This add-on requires PhoenixDuels Premium.
To install this add-on, simply drag and drop the jar file into the PhoenixDuels/addons folder, or include the add-on while using the bundle download option to download the plugin.
This add-on adds Wool Wars as a gamemode rule to the plugin, and generates the following file:
PhoenixDuels/translations/woolwars.translations.en.yml - The translation file for the add-on.Create a gamemode dedicated for Wool Wars.
Select the Generated rule Wool Wars and any other rule you might want.
Build the objective out of the platform block โ white wool by default โ inside the arena's battle region. Every block of that type becomes a claimable slot.
Create a map dedicated for this ruleset, and make sure Regeneration is enabled so the platform resets between matches.
When a round starts, the battle region is scanned and every block matching the platform material is registered as a claimable slot. Those slots are the only place in the arena where players can build.
Each team's share is tracked live, and the round ends the moment one team's share reaches the claim goal.
The platform scan walks the whole battle region block by block. Regions above roughly half a million blocks are skipped with a warning in chat rather than scanned โ keep the battle region tight around the arena.
Wool is handed out in a color matched to each team, so the platform reads at a glance:
| Team | Wool |
|---|---|
| Red / Dark Red | Red Wool |
| Blue / Dark Blue | Blue Wool |
| Green | Lime Wool |
| Dark Green | Green Wool |
| Aqua | Light Blue Wool |
| Dark Aqua | Cyan Wool |
| Purple | Purple Wool |
| Dark Purple | Magenta Wool |
| Gray | Light Gray Wool |
| Dark Gray | Gray Wool |
| Yellow, Orange, Pink, White, Black | The matching wool color |
Players are handed wool when the round starts and again when they respawn, and their stack is topped back up whenever it runs low, so they never have to think about ammo.
