Add-ons Gamemodes

๐ŸŽ SkyWars

On this page, you will learn more about the SkyWars rule.

#Information

The SkyWars add-on periodically refills every chest inside the arena's battle region with random items from a configurable pool. A hologram above each chest counts down until the next refill. Like Floor is Lava, this is a rule you can layer on top of any existing gamemode rather than a standalone win condition. This add-on requires PhoenixDuels Premium.

#Installation

To install this add-on, simply drag and drop the jar file into the PhoenixDuels/addons folder, then restart your server.

This add-on adds SkyWars as a gamemode rule to the plugin.

1

#Create a Gamemode

Create a gamemode, or open an existing one, that you want the chest refills applied to.

2

#Select Rule

Select the Generated rule SkyWars alongside your other rules.

3

#Place Chests

Place chests inside the arena's battle region โ€” these are the ones that will be refilled.

4

#Create a Map

Create a map dedicated for this ruleset, and make sure Regeneration is enabled so chests reset between matches.

#Configuration

The rule's settings let you configure:

  • Refill Interval - how many seconds between each chest refill.
  • Items Per Chest - a minimum and maximum number of items dropped into each chest on refill.
  • Item Pool - the list of items that can be picked when refilling a chest.
  • Hologram Format - the countdown text shown above each chest.
  • Action Bar - toggles an action bar showing every team's remaining player count.

#Placeholders

The SkyWars add-on adds the following placeholders that you can use on the Scoreboard:

  1. %skywars_team1_remaining% through %skywars_team4_remaining% - Returns the number of players still alive on that team slot.

#PlaceholderAPI Placeholders

The following is the list of the available placeholders that SkyWars has.

Placeholders Description
%phoenixduels_skywars_team1_remaining% Returns the players remaining on team 1.
%phoenixduels_skywars_team2_remaining% Returns the players remaining on team 2.
%phoenixduels_skywars_team3_remaining% Returns the players remaining on team 3.
%phoenixduels_skywars_team4_remaining% Returns the players remaining on team 4.
